Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is a 2013 downloadable video game developed by Red Fly Studio[1] and published by Activision based on mostly the ongoing Nickelodeon cartoon series, with small inspiration from the original comics, 1987 TV series, and films. The game was released on August 28 for Xbox Live Arcade and Steam, and it will be released on September 24 for PlayStation Network.[1] The game features a four-player online mode and offline two-player co-op, maybe in an upcoming patch. [3] [4] It is currently on Xbox Live and Steam for $14.99, and also has available gamer pics and avatar outfits featuring the turtle brothers. The game received negative to mixed reviews, praising the art direction, voice acting, music, and gameplay, but criticized it for it's large amount of technical glitches, and some design oversights.
As of September 2nd 2013, the Online Co-op for the Steam version is suffering from major technical difficulties. [5] The Playstation Network Version has been delayed, the reason being to polish the game more before release and to likely adress issues from the xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.
